Terms and conditions of sale

In force as of 29 October 2026. English translation provided for information only. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Service provider

La Table des Cimes — Alexandre Bogdanovski, sole trader (micro-entreprise)
SIRET 984 320 754 00026 — APE 56.21Z
917 route des Lombardes, 74450 Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, France
+33 7 49 22 91 83 — latabledescimescontact@gmail.com
VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

2. Purpose

These terms apply to private chef services (dinners prepared and served at the client's home or chalet) and to the gift cards sold on latabledescimes.fr. Placing an order implies acceptance of these terms.

3. Services

The services offered are dinners, served from 8 pm. The chef arrives in the late afternoon to prepare the meal on site and leaves once the kitchen has been tidied. The menu, number of guests, allergies and special diets are agreed with the client before the service.

4. Quotes and prices

Each service is subject to a personalised quote covering the ingredients, preparation, service and cleaning of the kitchen. Any travel costs and serving staff costs are shown on the quote. The quote is valid for the period stated on it.

5. Booking, deposit and payment

The booking is confirmed upon receipt of the signed quote and a deposit of 45% of the total amount. For security reasons, the balance is paid when the chef arrives, before the service begins. Payments are made by bank transfer.

Late payment. If the balance is not paid when the chef arrives, the client has 2 days following the date of the service to pay it. After this period, late fees of €50 per day of delay are due until full payment, without prejudice to any debt recovery action. For business clients (concierge services, agencies, companies), the fixed €40 recovery fee provided for in article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code is also due.

6. Cancellation by the client

  • More than 30 days before the service: the deposit is refunded.
  • Between 30 and 15 days before: the deposit is retained.
  • Less than 15 days before: 50% of the total amount of the quote is due.

Any reduction in the number of guests must be notified as early as possible; it may lead to an adjustment of the quote if the ingredients have not yet been purchased.

7. Cancellation by the service provider

If the chef is unable to attend (illness, accident, force majeure), all sums paid are refunded or, in agreement with the client, the service is postponed.

8. Drinks

Drinks are not included. The service provider does not hold a licence and neither supplies nor serves alcohol: the client provides their own wines and drinks.

9. Client obligations

The client provides a working, equipped kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, worktop) as well as serving tableware. The client informs the provider before the service of any food allergy or intolerance among the guests; the provider cannot be held liable for an allergy that was not reported.

10. Gift cards

Gift cards (€100, €250, €500, €750, €900 or €1,000, or another amount on request) are sent by email. Their amount is deducted from the quote for a dinner, booked subject to availability and at least 3 days in advance. They can neither be refunded nor exchanged for cash. In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to catering services provided on a specific date.

11. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint should first be sent to latabledescimescontact@gmail.com.

In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code on consumer dispute mediation, after contacting us and in the absence of a satisfactory reply, you may use a consumer mediation procedure free of charge with:
